Granada, March 2012.- one year, PULEVA MAX shows its support for the popularisation of mathematics among young people sponsoring the provincial phase of the XXVIII Olympiad mathematics Thales, tournament organized by the Andalusian society of education mathematics Thales entity in 2010 received the Medal of Andalusia, granted by the Junta de AndalucÃa for his work of teaching innovation and the dissemination of this matter. This competition took place on Saturday, March 24 and took place simultaneously in 21 offices that the Organization has arranged in the eight Andalusian provinces.
This Mathematical Olympiad has collaboration with the Junta de AndalucÃa through the Ministry of education, the Ministry for equality and Social Welfare and the Andalusian Youth Institute, and is addressed to the pupils of public centersconcluded and deprived of Andalusia complete 2nd E.S.O. The provincial phase of another Mathematical Olympiad for students in 6th primary was held simultaneously, at the headquarters of Granada, Malaga and Seville.
The Championship will be held in three phases: a provincial character, another regional and a third of national nature. The first five classified in each province of Andalusia, will participate in the Regional phase, to be held in Jerez de la Frontera from 15 to 19 May. The first six classified in the regional phase may attend the National Olympiad, organized by the Federation of societies of teachers of mathematics, at the end of June in Vitoria.
Talks and healthy breakfast PULEVA
All the participants who attended the theoretical and practical tests, received a healthy breakfast in the informative points PULEVA installed in each one of the main venues in each province. The healthy breakfast delivered the hostesses consisted of a piece of fruit, a slice of bread with extra virgin olive oil and a brick of 200 ml. of PULEVA Max cocoa with cereals, a milk product enriched with omega-3 DHA fatty acids.
Similarly, participants from the rest of Headquarters received as a gift a ‘ healthy Decalogue ’ with tips to follow correct eating habits and PULEVA product.
