Aragon doctors will be in the management of chronic pain

-the goal of PAIN Education training programme, promoted by the Aragonese Institute of Health Sciences, is to improve diagnosis and treatment
Zaragoza, April 2012.- with the aim of improving the diagnosis and treatment of people suffering from chronic pain, around 180 Aragon primary and specialized care health professionals will participate in the training programme on pain PAIN Education, promoted by the Aragonese Institute of health sciences.
This activity, which began April 2, is included within the training program for health professionals developed by the Government of Aragon, which is part of the initiative of the Grúnenthal Foundation in collaboration with the EFIC (European Federation of international associations for the study of pain) and thirst (Spanish society of pain).
In the coming months, these professionals acquire a greater awareness of the importance of a proper physician-patient communication, multimodal management of chronic pain, chronic pain treatments oriented according their mechanism and treatments of chronic low back pain. All modules are seen by experts in the approach to chronic pain.
