FEAFES rewards the best projects of research and integration on mental health.

-the 23 of July ends the deadline for admission of candidates and they are eligible for prizes all natural or legal persons belonging to FEAFES or linked to the Organization; as well as scientific or academic institutions

-the jury, composed by Mental health professionals and by the President of the Confederation, make public the failure in September

Madrid, June of 2012- the Spanish Confederation of groupings of families and people with Mental illness (FEAFES) will recognize the best research works to promote the recovery of persons with disease mental and those initiatives that foster their personal autonomy and improve their social image.

Those natural or legal persons may be made to the 15th edition of the prize Jaime Albert Solana members of the FEAFES Confederation or related to it, as well as scientific or academic institutions who are authors of projects, research, or studies, which contribute to the understanding of mental illness or the fight against the social stigma surrounding these people.

The award has a financial envelope of 6,000 euros, which is granted to projects pursuing to improve social understanding of mental illness in a positive way in the areas health, social, labour or legal. You will be also assessed the possibility of continuity or applicability of the works presented.

The jury will make public its decision during the month of September 2012 and shall be composed of renowned mental health professionals, and by José María Sánchez Monge, President of the convener, who shall act as Secretary.
