XXV Congress and European pharmacy Salon will be held the next 5, 6 and 7 March in Barcelona.

Barcelona, February 2013.- the XXV Congress and European pharmacy Hall, meeting point for the pharmaceutical industry, will be held in the fairground of Montjuïc in Barcelona the next 5, 6 and 7 March 2013, after passing through Madrid. The College of pharmacists of Madrid and Barcelona Infarma organized with the collaboration of Interalia.

Infarma is Congress and most important fair in the sector of pharmacy of Spain, and is internationally in exhibition and attendance figures. It is the ideal meeting point to scan, not only innovations in terms of products and services, but also to discuss current issues and the future of the pharmaceutical profession. In the words of its Director, Francisca Aranzana: Infarma is synonymous with a great point of European meeting of the pharmaceutical profession. It is a forum for debate in which pharmacy news is analyzed and shared all this knowledge to draw future scenarios ”.

This new edition to give solutions to empower the pharmacist as a health agent and consolidate his role as health care to citizens. The Congress devoted a table to reflect and claim the figure of the pharmacist as a health care professional of health for the early detection of diseases. Response will also be to create services that are necessary and interesting for the citizen and will accommodate topical issues such as the utility and reliability of health Apps: what there is on the market, its impact on society and relationship could have in the future with the pharmaceutical and health care role in particular.

Congress also will host the presentation of the conclusions of the study on the future of the Office of pharmacy, the result of a process which involved 500 pharmacists of Barcelona and Madrid, and will feature roundtables on different areas of specialization of the Pharmacy: phytotherapy and homeopathy, food and nutrition, orthopedics, dermopharmacy… There are also tables on master formulation as an efficient tool for the management of drugs in various clinical difficulty solutions.

For Aranzana, the crisis is the time for ideas, reflect, discuss and propose new ways. We have before us a future that we have to do with esperanza, loaded with projects and career possibilities for the pharmacist and is for this reason that we must not lose us Infarma. Already at the inaugural 24-hour ” want to put on the table the idea of hand of Andreu Buenafuente and the young entrepreneur Pau Garcia-Mila ”.

Infarma 2013 will take place in the fairground of Montjuïc, which will also host the Salon of drugs and pharmaceuticals, traditional appointment for the pharmaceutical companies who have the opportunity of approaching, through its presence in the stands, thousands of professionals from the Office of pharmacy involved these days in Infarma. The last edition of Infarma gathered 2.356 congressmen and 305 companies in Ifema, Madrid.
