The Provincial Hospital receives the first medical students in practices.

Castellón, 2013 February.- El hospital Provincial de Castellón Consortium has received last Monday to the first students of Medicine of the Universidad CEU Cardinal Herrera of Castellón that will make practices in the subjects of Cardiology CenterIA, Neurology, Pulmonology and therapeutic diagnostic tests.

The reception has counted with the assistance of the President of the Council and Vice President of the Hospital, Javier Moliner, who, in his welcome speech, 16 students said that one of the missions of the Centre Hospitalier is professionals to share their knowledge and experience with the physicians of the future.

Moliner recalled that these 16 students joined in the 125 students from other specialties of health sciences such as psychology, physiotherapy, pharmacy, nursing and nutrition that, during this academic year, their placement in the Consortium.

Residents

The hospital – which has begun procedures to receive the accreditation of University – now has residents in the specialty of radiation oncology, medical oncology and Radiophysics and will soon be incorporated into the ophthalmology.

The incorporation of new specialties residents is a challenge for the hospital and its professionals and is a guarantee for the future, since any point of Spain doctors can form in the Consortium.
