The Department of health of Torrevieja prepares 3rd Conference aimed at the figure of caregiver patient.

TorreviejaMarch of 2013- Department of health of Torrevieja prepared during these weeks program which will be the third Conference of the caregiver. They will address the importance of Mental health carer, in the unit from hospital to home and resources and social supports available to.
The figure of the caregiver is essential for the patient and from the area of Health wants to strengthen the role assumed by this and all the resources you have at your fingertips.
The Conference will take place next month of May and throughout an afternoon all patients and concerned relatives may attend the same and share with health professionals from the Centre any doubt or question you might have.
The session will be divided into three blocks. The first of them, will be in charge of Dr. Jesús Mesones, head of Department of Psychiatry, who Lorenzo will deal with professionals of Enfermeria-daniel. And psychologists – Óscar López, the role and importance of the caregiver in the patient’s mental health.
In the second block, Dr. Llontop will open talks on the figure of the caregiver in cases in which the patient receives care at home and of the relationship that is established between caretaker and nurse, subject to Lydia Rabadán, UHD nurse addressed.
And finally, you’ll voice those associations and institutions remaining support to caregivers, without forgetting the social resources which may be available, block that will be in charge of associations of the area and the Mental health unit of work.
