The CDTI approved an investment of more than 50 M€ to 92 business r & d projects.


-40 projects are co-financed with EU funds ERDF, with about 16.5 million euros public funding commitments

-are granted aid which seek to promote the activity of enterprises of technological basis

-approved initiatives will mean 722 new jobs

Spain, March of 2013.- the Board of management of the Centre for Industrial technological development (CDTI), has approved 92 new projects of r & d, which will mobilize a total investment of 50.331 million euros. In this way, this Center chaired by Román Arjona, general Secretary of science, technology and innovation, drives business r & d and stimulates the creation of technology based companies. 92 New projects approved, with commitments of public funding that more than 38 million euros, 40 projects will have European co-financing (ERDF).

Of these projects, 84 are individual, 4 Consortium, comprising 10 individual operations associated, 3 projects of internationalization of results, and one of them is a NEOTEC project whose support is granted for the creation of technology based businesses.

the CDTI estimated that the sum of these initiatives will result in the creation of 308 jobs, which, in addition, 414 indirect jobs. In total, 722 jobs throughout the economy.

ERDF

The CDTI manages FEDER funds of the European Union dedicated to the promotion of business r & d in Spain. 98 Operations approved by the Centre, 42 have European ERDF co-financing: 34 by the technological background and 8 through the program operational ERDF Madrid. Of the total, 38 correspond to individual r & d projects and 4 operations correspond to 2 projects in cooperation which have been approved in this last Board.
