the company Ivoclar Vivadent, Schaan, Liechtenstein-based, announced the acquisition of Wieland Dental. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012. The transaction is still subject to approval by the German Federal Cartel Office. The Ivoclar Vivadent will acquire the shares of the holding company and founding family BWK Wieland. Wieland, which employs 190 employees, achieved a sales volume of around 60 million euros in 2011.
