Andalusia, Catalonia and Valencian Community, communities that more pension disability awarded.
Spain, 2011-September Andalusia is the autonomous community that more permanent disability pension granted, according to data from the Ministry of labour and immigration, with 207,000 persons found unfit to work. Of these 6.492 do so to the degree of large disability ”, and more than 80,000 in absolute degree for all work. It is followed by Catalonia more than 167,000 cases and thirdly, the Valencian Community, with 96,000 pensions granted to date.
The communities of La Rioja, with more than 5,500 people, Navarra, with 11,300, and Cantabria, with 14.136, are, on the other hand, communities that have less disabled permanent in its territory.
Put in the hands of professionals is important to access a pension for permanent incapacity, a large number of these cases were rejected at first by the Provincial Directorate of Social Security, and those who suffered the condition needed to go to court to ensure that their rights would be respected.
The law medical group has since 1978 fighting for the rights of those suffering from a medical condition which prevents them from working, and is the only Center in Spain in offering technical, medical and legal advice to ensure a favorable outcome in this process.
