The support units of the Department of Requena do 18.960 assists during 2010.

Requena, 2011-September the units in support of the Department of health of Requena made during the year 2010 a total of 18.960 assists, distributed between the service of dentistry in the DepartmentUnity of addictive behaviors (UCA) and the Sexual and reproductive health centre located in the town of Utiel.

Last year the unity of addictive behaviors (UCA), featuring three doctor, nurse and psychologist consultations, as well as a group therapy room, has made 5.042 assists, while the dentistry service has made 7000.

This has been possible thanks to the expansion of the portfolio of services in dentistry, with new features and the time extension with attention in the evenings, adapting to the needs of the population ”, says Marisa de Reinoso, Manager of the Department.

The UCA, aiming to provide a better service to the population, also extended its opening hours on alternate Tuesday afternoon. On the other hand, has been also supplemented its portfolio of services with activities as school parent or group therapy.

On the other hand, the Department has expanded also afternoons in the Centre of Sexual Health and reproductive Utiel hours to facilitate the access of users, which has allowed 6.018 assists during 2010.
