New edition of the Máster in pharmacovigilance of the IL3-Universitat de Barcelona.
Spain, 2011-October The Training Institute continued de la Universitat de Barcelona (IL3-UB), reference in training for the pharmaceutical industry, presents a new edition of the master in pharmacovigilance, a program leader and pioneer in this area. The master develops capacities to analyse the problems and solutions of the activity of pharmacovigilance, taking a vision global standards (both Spanish and European).
Pharmacovigilance aims to identify, quantify, assess and prevent risks in the use of medications. Therefore, this activity lies with different agents related to the use of medicines: the regulatory authorities, industry, health professionals and patients.
This master’s degree aims to train skilled technicians in pharmacovigilance, develop and enhance their professional career in this field. At the same time, the master aims to improve the competitiveness of the laboratories. It is addressed to professionals working in pharmacovigilance, as well as professionals in related fields of the pharmaceutical industry. The master’s programme is also aimed at graduates in pharmacy, medicine, biology and health sciences wishing to work in pharmacovigilance.
The program is taught by professionals in this area of the industry. It is directed by DRA. Conxita Barajas, Professor of the master of clinical trials, the UB & European Director of pharmacovigilance, CB Fleet Laboratories.
