Alzira, October 2011.- the director-general of hospitals in the community of Madrid, Antonio Burgess, and former Minister of public administrations and current consultant for PricewaterhouseCooper, Jordi Sevilla, star in the forthcoming conferences of Alzira health forum, entity driven by Hospital Universitario de La Ribera as a point of meeting, debate and opinion about the sustainability of the public health system of Spain.
Thus, on 18 October, is scheduled the presence of Antonio Burgess in this forum, where talk of social co-responsibility in the sustainability of the system and the international experiences ”. For its part, the intervention of Jordi Sevilla in the Alzira health forum is scheduled for 29 November.
The objective of this forum, created at the end of 2010, is the help to provide new and heterogeneous solutions for the public health sector; to this end, it has the presence of leading experts at the national level which, by their experience and preparation, have an own vision and interest on the present and future situation of the national system of health (SNS).
Thus, it has been for this forum as director general of the Institute economic experts (IEE), Juan Iranzo; the director of prevention and medical services of the Antena3 group, Bartolome Beltran, or the President of the International Center for entrepreneurial management IE Business School, Juan José Güemes.
The public that attends these conferences is composed, primarily, by directors of the health sector (managers of hospitals, economic and welfare directors, consultants), both public and private, as well as political figures and representatives of civil and medical associations in the Valencian Community.
With the establishment of this forum, El Hospital Universitario de La Ribera which, in its day, represented implementation of a bold and innovative proposal of health management, goes one step further in the search for innovative solutions to ensure the sustainability of the public health system, through formulas for Agile, effective and efficient management.
