The ABO and the city of Fortaleza launch program that will assess and educate 650 children from a school for a period of one year.
the Brazilian Association of dentistry (ABO), in partnership with the city of Fortaleza, initiated the project Generation – Zero Decay Student Note Ten ”. The program will meet during one year the 650 school children in the neighbourhood of Journalist Blanchard Girão Jangurussu. The pilot project aims to raise awareness and monitor the development of the oral health of the students

students, who have between six and 12 years, will receive kits of brushing and assist the educational activities. During the project period, children will be evaluated every three months, those who do not have tooth decay and make good grades will receive diplomas and medals as an incentive.
the project’s goal is to ensure that 60% of students do not show more tooth decay until August 2012. Preliminary examinations showed that only 180 of 650 students lacked the teeth cariados. Other 470 children will also receive treatments in
