Logroño, 17 nov (EFE).-the Mayor of Oyón (Basque country), Rubén Garrido (PP), on hunger strike since yesterday to claim health care for the citizens of La Rioja Alavesa, has today urged the Basque Department of health to get in touch with the Government of La Rioja to solve the problem.

Garrido has spent his first night camped outside the headquarters of the Government of La Rioja in Logroño to require executives Basque and La Rioja to negotiate a solution to the conflict of health care, affecting some 8,000 Alava citizens, as it has been said.
