La Coruña, 2011-December bioethics is the branch of ethics that is dedicated to providing the necessary principles to correct human behavior with respect to life and the environment which might be acceptable conditions for the same. With the objective of addressing the methods of this discipline, health sciences Foundation and the Galiza Paideia Foundation, with the support of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), have organized for the first time in a Coruña the Ateneo of bioethics, which is now in its twelfth edition. also for the first time the event has been broadcast live with participation online of users, all of them are professionals with no prior training in bioethics.

The book has been presented during the event Bioethics: the State of the art ”, edited by the health sciences Foundation on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. The first part is precisely about methods of bioethics, a subject of great importance and current issues on which there is little literature in Spanish ”, says Professor Diego Gracia, Chairman of the health sciences Foundation. The teaching of bioethics is having its reflection in clinical practice in Spain, but still much remains to be done ”, explains. This year marks the twentieth anniversary of its Constitution.
