Guadalajara (Mexico), January 2012.- Professor Santiago Dexeus has closed the V International Congress of the College of colposcopy and pathology of the tract Genital Inferior de Occidente which was held in Guadalajara (Mexico), with a keynote entitled can write already, the obituary of uterine cervical cancer? ” and in which Professor Dexeus explained why the vaccine against HPV is the main treatment for the watchdogón of cancer of the cervix and other malignant tumors as the of vulva, vagina, anus or penis, oropharyngeal, in the long term.

Professor Santiago Dexeus has participated in the Congress with other magisterial Conference, framed within the module on the vagina and tumor markers, which has dealt with the concept of residual injury, how to make a proper diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Moreover, Professor Dexeus has contributed in Congress with other interventions on how to diagnose and treat Neoplasia intraepitelialvulvar, within the module aimed at topics related to the vulva; on the diagnosis of microinvasor pavimentoso Carcinoma and adenocarcinoma in situ of neck uterine, and their respective treatments, in the module on colposcopy and cervical, where injury has presented the conditions of treatment of cervical intraepithelial lesions (CIN).

In the last module of the Congress focused on topics of special interest, Professor Dexeus has carried out a presentation on colposcópicos abnormal findings, with particular emphasis on their different characteristics and its gradation colposcópica, specifying the differences between minor or major changes.
