El CECOVA congratulated Manuel Cervera on his appointment as new health spokesman of the PP in Congress
The former Minister of health takes over from Deputy for Madrid Mario Mingo, appointed Chairman of the Committee on health and social services of the Congress.
valencia, January 2012.- the Council of nursing of the Comunitat Valenciana (CECOVA) and the official nursing of Valencia, Castellón and Alicante schools today congratulated the Deputy of the Popular parliamentary group in the Congress Manuel Cervera on his appointment as health spokesman of the PP in the lower House and were to its full readiness to collaborate in the development of few issues affect directly to the profession nurse ”.
The President of the CECOVA, José Antonio Avila Olivares, said that the appointment of Cervera ensures that issues related to the Group of nurses will be very present and surely they will be taken into account in the discussions carried out within this legislative body ”.
In this regard, Ãvila recalled that the former Minister was constant support for the profession nurse from the various positions that he held the Ministry of health and maintained open channels of dialogue with the collegiate organization of nurses to fix few issues were raised ”.
Cervera was in command of the Directorate-General for quality and attention to the patient of the Ministry of health since June 27, 2003; later at the head of the Autonomous Secretariat for health and then it was managing director of the Valencia Agency of health and, finally, Counsellor from June 29, 2007.
The former Minister of health takes over from Deputy for Madrid Mario Mingo, who practiced the spokesmanship of the PP in health issues during the last three legislatures and now will preside over the Commission of health and social services of the Congress of Deputies. Mingo replaces the Deputy of IU Gaspar Llamazares, who was President of the same during the last legislature when called Commission of health and consumer.
