has organized various actions informational and awareness-raising, to be held throughout this week in several municipalities of the comarca.
-all actions that occur during the week (information tables, information) through social networks, competition of short stories will be used to commemorate on 4 February, World Day against the cancer.
Alzira, January 2012.- The Department of health of the Hospital Universitario de La Ribera joined, once again, to the observance of world day against cancer, which is held on 4 February.
To do this, it has organized a series of actions of information and awareness-raising, to be held throughout this week in several municipalities of the comarca.
So, tomorrow Wednesday, February 1, the Department of health placed two informative tables in the centros de salud de Alzira II, Swedish, Alginet, Benifaió and AlgemesÃ. In these tables, personal optional and associations fighting cancer, will offer information and advice on the disease to the persons concerned.
In the same way, also this week, and until next Sunday, February 5, at 18: 00, persons who so wish may raise their questions, concerns and doubts about cancer to the page of Facebook from the Health Department of the Bank: http://www.facebook.com/hospitaldelaribera. Starting on February 6, these questions will be answered by professionals in the Department of health, in areas such as Oncology, dermatology, urology, breast unit, unit of Colon, psycho-Oncology and hematology.
Also, from 4 February, World Day against cancer, the Health Department of the Bank will launch its short story contest I hope cancer drippers ”, whose objective is to receive unpublished texts where gives an optimistic or hopeful view about this disease. This contest is directed to health personnel, both patients and their families, friends and carers.
The bases of the contest, which may also be consulted through the Facebook of the Health Department of the Bank site, set a maximum length of 5 pages for story, which may be sent until February 29, the Hospital Universitario de La Ribera both by e-mail (comunicacion@hospital-ribera.com) and by postal mail (Corbera road)1 Km – 46360 Alzira; (Valencia). In the subject or reference mail should appear the motto short story contest I ”.
