(Reuters) – Merck & Co plans to form a partnership with two pharmaceutical Brazilian to operate in that country, said on Wednesday the U.S. company.
society, which will initially include the marketing of 30 products, is the latest sign of how multinationals of the sector bet on emerging markets to make sure growth.
Merck will form a society with more than Pharma laboratories S.A., a company that is property of the Brazilian pharmaceutical Cristália and Eurofarma.
Society, which will be completed by the end of the year, will be owned by Merck in a 51 per cent and the rest of the Brazilian partners.
