Program of direct aid (PDA).
Buenos Aires, August of 2011- the Australia Embassy in Buenos Aires opens the call to the program of direct aid (DAP), which consists of a mechanism of grants aimed at supporting development strategies put forward by organizations without profit of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The closing date is 24 August 2011.
In this opportunity is called for the submission of projects to guide a:
-support the strengthening of democratic institutions through the implementation of tools to promote citizen participation and the role of civil society’s influence, monitor and demand accountability of the institutions public.
-Contribute to the sustainable development of marginalized communities – both urban and rural – by supporting productive character developments with the participation of final beneficiaries in the identification, development and management.
-Supporting strategies for the protection and development of children, adolescents and young people with a focus on one or more of the following areas: access and permanence in formal education; improvement of the quality of education; development through cultural or sporting activities; nutrition and nutrition education; inclusion for children, adolescents and young people with disabilities; education in sexual and reproductive health.
-Promote support for educational programs focused on: violence domestic (visibility, awareness and prevention education), inclusion of people with disabilities and safety vial.
The process of application for the call will take place in two steps: the first instance where organizations are an expression of interest from which will be a pre-selection of projects, and the second that corresponds to the presentation of part of those shortlisted application forms to do so.
