Jakarta, 25 feb ( EFE).-the Ministry of health of Indonesia reported fourth death from the virus H5N1 influenza avian in the country since the beginning of the year, according to an official statement that gathers today the press national.
Authorities identified the victim as a 12 year old boy who resided on the tourist island of Bali when he fell ill on 11 February.
The patient came to hospital 15 and died six days later, according to the press release from the authorities.
An Indonesian of 24 years and his younger brother of five died of this disease in January, while a young woman of 19 lost his life the past day 13 in a hospital in the District of Tangerang on the outskirts of Jakarta.
Indonesia is the country most affected by the virus of influenza avian, with 153 deaths, excluding the latter of 185 cases between 2003 and 2012, according to data from the World Health Organization.
Since the beginning of 2012, human infection of this virus have been confirmed in China, Cambodia and Viet Nam.
