The FNCP met with the Minister of health.
Spain, August of 2011- the National Executive Board of the Federation private clinics met on 25 July with the Minister of health, Social Affairs and equality, Ms. Leire Pajin and Ms. Carmen Moya, Director General of the Agency’s quality SNS. A meeting which exceeded the time of meeting topics that affect health care both private and public, while the focus placed on the table by the Federation is the important impact that can make the project of order of the Ministry of labour by regulating the provision of health services and recovery by the mutual accident and occupational disease of social security. With regard to this project in order the Minister undertook to treat it with the Ministry of labour so that their impact is the least possible in both public and private health.
In the same way both parties agreed on the need for collaboration between the public and private sectors to ensure the sustainability of the current public health system, as well as the introduction of a MBDS with common criteria throughout the Spanish.
As regards the important issue of inherited lack of specialists as a result of the lack of planning of human resources in health, the Minister reported work is underway to resolve the situation in the medium term and that progress has already been as a result of the work done in recent years.
