Air Liquide Medicinal organizes a seminar for medicinal gases management staff of hospital pharmacy and hospitals of the Servicio Extremeño de Salud engineering oriented

Mérida, 2012-June Air Liquide Medicinal, the Extremadura society of specialized pharmaceutical care and Servicio Extremeño de Salud organized on 30 may, a seminar under the title: medical Gases: new regulatory area. New responsibilities ” for Extremadura pharmacists.

This seminar, taught by the Director technical pharmacist of Air Liquide Medicinal, Gonzalo Cisneros and the company, Juan Francisco Priego, Director of the southern delegation has been focused on the aspects of law 29/2006, of July 26, guarantees and rational use of medicines and health products. In this sense, it has dealt with the importance of the production, transport and delivery to the assistance centers as well as traceability, labelling, technical data and prospect of gas bottles.

Finally, the seminar ended with visit to the pharmaceutical laboratory of medicinal Gases of Air Liquide Medicinal in Mérida, only laboratory pharmacist in Extremadura in a company gas.

Air Liquide Medicinal is pharmaceutical laboratory since 2005, and this month has renewed its certification after successfully overcome the inspection of the Spanish Agency of medicines and health products. This Center is the export of gas medication to Portugal and other Spanish communities such as Andalusia, Castilla and León or Madrid.
