Alliance Healthcare and Pfizer continue educating pharmacists in the cessation smoking.
Barcelona, 2011-September Alliance Healthcare and Pfizer continue the training of pharmacists in the battle against smoking that already started in the month of may, with two conferences held this month of September in Girona and Zaragoza. Both talks are part of a training plan on smoking cessation broader aimed, on the one hand, to pharmacists and, on the other hand, employees of the pharmaceutical distribution company.
This program, which began in the province of Barcelona in the month of may, has continued its training last September 13 in Girona with a Conference for pharmacists in the area, provided by Francesc TobÃa, nurse and expert in addictions, and Dr. Alberto Seoane, psychiatrist and also with extensive experience in the prevention of this addiction.
Zaragoza, the presentation took place on 20 September and has been given by the Vice-President of the official College of pharmacists of Madrid and an expert in smoking, Ana MarÃa Quintas.
All attendees have received a manual of prevention and treatment of smoking and tools to help convince and make follow-up of patients, as well as a free course on line with 6 credits.
the objective of these meetings, which will be repeated in other areas of the country during the coming months, is to offer to the Office of pharmacy professional tools that you would support to advise patients how should stop smoking and savoir-faire how can optimal monitoring of people who drop out of the tobacco.
