the journal PLoS Biology, published this week a series of experiments conducted by scientists English and Swedish, with whom discovered a molecule that can prevent the multiplication of a protein involved in the development of the evil of Alzheimer’s disease.
Experiments were conducted on flies of the fruit, which were genetically designed to develop the equivalent of evil insects. Resulting in the total cure of the disease. the new molecule designed by Swedish scientists is a small protein called Affibody, who adhere to other proteins in the brain. This experiment creates a way straight towards the possibility of preventing Alzheimer.
Only currently been experiments in fruit flies and expected that after further studies, it can soon test in humans. Until now knew little about the process that produces Alzheimer’s in our brain
