Murcia, 2011-December Aspaym Murcia offered a course on care of the urological system in people with injury Medullary.
The course, which took place last Wednesday, December 14, by videoconference, is part of the programme virtual classrooms ”, coordinated by the National Federation of ASPAYM and funded by the Foundation Vodafone Spain.
During the training dealt with aspects such as catheterization, neurogenic bladder, Urological complications in people with spinal cord injury and prevention of Urologic problems in men and women.

training modules that will be taught in the program virtual classrooms ” are grouped into three main topics: Labor, Social and health. Will be developed until February 2012, and will be given simultaneously through the participating entities videoconferencing system: Aspaym Castilla y León, Aspaym Granada, Aspaym Madrid, Aspaym Murcia and Aspaym Toledo.
This open, active and participative, system will make it possible to encourage debate and reflection of participants in a bidirectional way and in real time, while the trainer, expert from each subject, present at the seat of one of the participating associations.
Ultimately, this programme aims to provide distance training, professionalized and based on common demand and manifest needs of persons with disabilities.
The program virtual classrooms ”, goes to people with spinal cord injury and severe physical disability, relatives and/or close relatives who want and need:
– find out about the possibilities and means available to improve their situation and social integration,
– advise on the measures of prevention and care necessary for the improvement of their health situation,
– receive training on labour matters, to obtain a job quality.
National Federation ASPAYM (Association of spinal cord injuries and great physical disabled), is a declared of public utility, consisting of 18 associations and 2 foundations, located throughout the national territory, while in 13 autonomous regions, representing more than 12,000 people with spinal cord injuries.
The Spain Vodafone Foundation is a private, non-profit, nature of research and of indefinite duration, under the auspices of the Ministry of education.
