Foundation Pfizer has developed City health, an online game aimed at children and adolescents to get to learn a fun healthy habits and values related to the life healthy.
At the time the participants in the game are advancing by stages and scenarios, they are also learning habits such as healthy eating, exercise, the importance of hygiene or crucial thing which is resting in the day to day.
this very interesting initiative has cost two years of work, and it has developed through the collaboration of a team of doctors, pedagogues, and technicians in computer science. The words of Celso Arango, head of the unit of adolescents of the Hospital Gregorio Marañón in Madrid, leave no doubt: the habits acquired during childhood will become models of behaviour into adulthood. That is why it is essential to inculcate social values and healthy habits from the first years of life, that from that age forges the personality and future patterns of relationship ”.
In addition, City Health offers also a wide variety of extras for parents and teachers as guides teaching in pdf format which can be downloaded directly on the computer, proposing amusing and training activities carried out at home or in the classroom.
