Beijing (Reuters) – Chinese police believed that a child

who died after taking a yogurt drink made with Coca Cola

would have been the victim of a deliberate poisoning, told the

media Tuesday official, once a research

he concluded that there was no toxic in a sample of the same elements

batch of products.

The finding appears to reduce the chances of a retreat

mass product of Coca Cola in the northeast of China.

“Technical tests and investigations of the police

An 11-year-old boy died in the city of Changchun, in the

flavor of strawberries on 28 November. His mother became ill

seriously after consuming the same drink.

Police had reached “preliminary conclusion” that the

drink was deliberately adulterated, said the press agency

official Xinhua, quoting to her officiate public security

provincial.

Both cases researchers found pesticides

highly toxic present in the remains of the product, said the

report.

But tests conducted by the National Center of China

for monitoring and testing of food quality “not

they showed the presence of Methomyl thiodicarb, two pesticides

toxic in samples from the same batch of milk drinks

with Strawberry flavour ingested by the victim”, reported Xinhua

late Monday.
