Community celebrates this month open houses of the new Hospital King Juan Carlos de Móstoles.

Madrid, February of 2012.- the healthcare viceconsejerasPatricia Flores, and health management and infrastructure, Bethlehem Prado, accompanied by the Mayor of Móstoles, Daniel Ortiz, conducted last Monday a guided visit to the new Hospital King Juan Carlos de Móstoles with the main associations social and health of this town, so that citizen bodies know firsthand these facilities rather than operational.
This visit to be followed shortly the celebration of days of open doors between on 22 and 26 February so any neighbor of Móstoles, or any other town, can bring to the Hospital, visit their facilities and learn about its benefits.
The viceconsejeras and the Mayor of Móstoles have traveled with neighborhood representatives of the municipality external consultations of the first floor, diagnostic imaging service, the area of hospitalization and the urgencies of the new King Juan Carlos Hospital, second of the locality, that becomes the first city in the region to Móstoles, after the capital, to have two hospitals linked to the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
Hospital King Juan Carlos de Móstoles will open its doors in the second half of the month of March and its commissioning will be gradual, so that within a period of three weeks all the services of the Center are operating.
In the first week open consultations, in the next week will begin activity ambulatory surgery, intensive care unit and Hospital day as well as physical therapy. Finally, in the third week will begin the activity of hospitalization, emergencies, obstetric block and dialysis. In parallel, ten days before the opening, the hospital will begin to cite their first patients.
The new hospital is located between the plaza de toros and the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, with easy access by motorway A-5. It has an area of 95,000 square meters with an investment of more than 232 million euros.
260 beds, 10 operating rooms
The new hospital de Móstoles will be 260 individual rooms, 47 queries, ten posts of medical day hospital and twelve jobs dialysis. In the surgical area you will have ten operating rooms. By the same token, will have 32 cabinets of exploration, 78 jobs urgent care, radiology, 10 posts 21 rooms neonatology and 18 posts of UCI.
Its portfolio of services also includes medical, surgical, maternal child and Services Central that respond to 90% of the most common pathologies. This Center is one of the three new hospitals in Madrid launches this legislature, joining the in Torrejón de Ardoz, already in operation from September 2011, and to Collado Villalba, which currently is under construction.
Hospital King Juan Carlos will give health coverage to about 180,000 inhabitants of 18 municipalities (Móstoles, Navalcarnero, scaffold of glass, San MartÃn de Valdeiglesias, Villa del Prado, Navas del Rey, Villaviciosa de Odón, Cenicientos, Rozas of Port Royal, dam Pelayos, village of Fresno, Sevilla la Nueva, Villamanta, Villamantilla, Villanueva de Perales)(, ChapinerÃa, Colmenar de Arroyo and the Alamo), although with the implementation in the Madrid health of free choice, any citizen may, if desired, be cared for in this Center.
