Spain, 2011-December Monthly Social Security contributory pensions payroll exceeded on 1 November 7.169 million EUR, 4.7 per cent more than in the same month of 2010, according to statistics made public today by the Ministry of labour and immigration.
The average of the system of Social Security pension reached this month the amount of 921,73 euros, a 3.5% increase from the same month of last year. As regards the average pension system, which includes the different types of pension (retirement, permanent disability, widowhood, orphanhood, and for family members), stood at 809,83 EUR per month, an annual increase of 3.2%.
In November, the number of contributory Social security pensions reached 8.853.188 pension, which represents an annual growth of 1.5%. More than half of pensions are for retirement, 5.281.894; 2.316.769 are for widows; 940.914 permanent disability; 275.505 by orphan and 38.106 for families.
The law medical group offers this data because it takes since 1978 fighting for the rights of those suffering from a medical condition which prevents them from working, because that is the only Center in Spain in offering technical, medical and legal advice to ensure a favorable outcome in the processing of Social security pensionsat the time that the temporary disability becomes permanent disability.
