Federation of associations for the defence of public health (FADSP), has encrypted in “30 or 40 percent” casualties in the health centres with reason of the General strike of 29 March Thursday, as he has explained his spokesman Martian Sánchez Bayle. This Association had already announced its support for the break because “people’s health is at stake”.
. The representative of the Federation has assured Europa Press that the strike of the day “has had more impact than the previous”, held in 2010. Sánchez Bayle also welcomes that there have been incidents, now it “as was to be expected”, the minimum services “have met scrupulously”. For this reason, considers that “there will be the same complaints of patients to a festive day as it was on the day of San José”.
In his view, the strike is justified by adjustment measures developed by the PP Government, which “have increased the social inequalities that are the cause of greater inequalities in health”. In particular, the reform imposed by the Government is “harmful” to the rights of workers and, especially, in the field of health, “insofar as it facilitates the dismissal for subjective reasons to those who have a small number of casualties due to illness”.
Therefore adds, “this will lead to that people should be low and do not meet the physical conditions to carry out their jobs are making it; that has many risk to their health and persons to which relates”.
