Spain, April 2012.- DENTAID, leader in oral health has been awarded in the 11th edition of the awards-Fundamedheld on April 11 at the Rafael del Pino in Madrid Auditorium. The Plan of training support to classroom Dentaid pharmacists has been the award-winning Global pharmacy, a category which recognizes those initiatives that help to improve the training of pharmacy.
With this distinction, FUNDAMED recognizes the efforts of DENTAID to promote training tools to help pharmacy professionals in the field of oral health.
The award-winning project is included in the training programme for the company called classroom Dentaid, an initiative directed to practitioners of the oral health that offered during the past year 2011 a total of 4.891 microcursos involving a total of 1,500 professionals of all Spain pharmacy. The microcursos, who are taught by visiting physicians of the company in the Office of pharmacy, adapt to the time needs of staff pharmacist and covered topics such as oral hygiene, oral irrigation or inflammation of the gums, one of the pathologies which most concerns the patients.
The jury, composed of a group of experts who develop their professional activity in different areas of health care, had to choose between 85 nominations that were submitted to this award. And as in previous editions, the awards ceremony attended by political representatives of the Government and the autonomous communities, experts from the pharmaceutical industry, leaders of the highest medical and pharmaceutical institutions, as well as representatives of various medical societies.
