Barcelona, October 2012.- Aula DENTAID, DENTAID training area, leader in pharmacies in oral health, organized a total of 19 courses for dental hygienists, under the title orthodontist + hygienist: teamwork guarantees success ”. It is expected that more than 3,000 hygienists attending these courses, which will be held in various cities in Spain between October and November.
For the purpose and the commitment to make the updating of knowledge in the relevant disciplines of the sector more accessible, classroom DENTAID has focused the theme of the new cycle of courses for hygienists in the area of orthodontics, from the point of view of teamwork between professionals as a guarantee of success.
These training sessions are organized into two blocks: the first part is focused the hygienist as an Assistant at the fit and placement of orthodontic appliances, as well as making records for the diagnosis; in a second part, be addressed the role that acquires the hygienist as primarily responsible for the care and maintenance of orthodontic appliances. The complications that can arise from the treatment orthodontic, impacting the quality of life, how to perform a proper hygiene oral, are some of the points that are included in both blocks.
