>/Shows Successful experiences of Projects Pro-health and PET-desktop Health Dentistry is an initiative of Abeno and the Ministry of health. “The two projects are important for the reorientation of health training and integration between teaching and service, widely defended by Abeno”, explains the President of the entity, Maria Celeste Morita. This way, the show aims to be a space of reflection on the implementation of Pro-health and PET-Health throughout the national territory. To the Director of the Secretariat’s Programme of work and management of Health Education of the Ministry of health, Ana Stela Haddad, it is also a moment to strengthen the collective perception of the two projects. “These Are important moments in which educational institutions, teachers, students, join to reflect over the direction of public health and society itself. The scientific articles and summaries expanded who received a favourable opinion will be published in a number of special themed magazine of Abeno. With the goal of fostering this integration and the formation of learning groups in strategic areas for the single health system (SUS), the PET-health is an instrument within the Pro-health for qualification in the service of professionals, involving graduate students, service professionals, managers and teachers in their actions. /

One is the increase in the percentage of professionals with a public link, mainly with the explosive growth of jobs in the public network of Dental services. According to data gathered in the book “the current profile and trends of dentist Brasileiro”, Ana Stela Haddad, Maria Celeste Morita and Maria ErcÃlia de Araújo, 1/3 of dental surgeons of the country has a link with the public service, which reveals a new posture of professional
dentistry.
this new reality of the dental profession in Brazil and other fronts of work at national Dentistry will be treated in various other moments of the 46th meeting of the scientific programme of Abeno. Among the highlights of the activities programmed are the Working talks in public service and Dental Training, with Paul Savio Angeiras of Garcia, Coordinator of the specialization course in Dentistry and collective health of the Universidade do Estado de Pernambuco (UPE); Professional training for Management – in Academia, politics and administration, with João Carlos Caetano, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC); and labour market in dentistry – an external evaluation, to Joseph Pastore, of the Faculty of Economics, administration and accounting from the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP). /
