Santiago de Compostela, March of 2013.- the General Director of professional management in the Ministry of health, José Javier Castrodeza Sanz, will start the scientific sessions of the 29 National Conference on nursing in Traumatology and orthopedic surgery, with a paper entitled the future of specialties and training in nursing ”.
Advances in genomics related to the musculoskeletal system, focus the theme of the closing conference that will be delivered by Dr. Ãngel Carracedo, Director of the Institute of Legal Medicine of the University of Santiago de Compostela and Director of the Foundation for genomic medicine. Carracedo is a scientist known for their extensive research in the field of molecular genetics; a specialty in which pioneered and which has allowed it to create techniques and performance models that are applied at the international level.
With this scientific meeting, the Association of nursing in Traumatology JENCOT celebrates the 29th edition of the Symposium, which will take place from 22 to 24 may 2013, in Santiago de Compostela. These seminars are organized in collaboration with the Servizo Galego de Saúde.
The scientific program also includes five roundtables, workshops and defence communications in poster and oral format. The deadline for sending communications ends on April 19, 2013.
New technologies, research, nurse competition, safety and occupational health are some of the topics to be discussed during scientific sessions that aims to facilitate knowledge and debate among professionals, as well as the implementation in common concerns and experiences.
José MarÃa Ruiz Ortega, President of AEGRIS; Pablo Uriel Latorre, nurse of the research unit in health care (Institute of health Carlos III de Madrid); MarÃa Jesús Núñez Iglesias, Dean of the Faculty of nursing of the University of Santiago de Compostela; Health journalist Alipio Gutiérrez Sánchez and President of the National Association of health of informers (ANISE) or Manuel Iglesias Franco, Finisterre Center Chief of search and rescue, are some of the professionals who will participate in the scientific sessions of this Conference.
Taking care of the road becomes ”, is the theme chosen for this Conference which are directed by Antonia Gómez Vidal, President of the Organizing Committee and nurse operating room of the Hospital clinical University of Santiago de Compostela want these days to be the meeting point for all the nurses of COT, in which the knowledge and experience accumulated throughout our career, feel the bases of future paths for our specialty ”.
For three days, more than 500 nurses will come together in the Galician city to attend this Conference posed a forum of national reference for nursing within the specialty in Traumatology and orthopedic surgery, for the exchange of experiences between professionals and knowledge of recent developments in the profession.
The healthcare industry will be present in the commercial area of sessions in which may present the most innovative products for traumatology.

Association JENCOT (Conference of nursing in orthopedic surgery and Traumatology) is a scientific society non-profit, which integrates related nursing professions in Traumatology and orthopedic surgery.
