Madrid, 5 March (EFE).-eleven media groups have signed today with the Spanish Association against cancer (AECC) agreement, presided over by the Princess of Asturias, with committing themselves to disseminate in their respective Association first institutional campaign means to involve all the Spaniards in this fight.

More than 200,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year in Spain, while 40 percent of cancers are potentially preventable with healthy lifestyle habits, such as not smoking, avoid tobacco smoke, limit alcohol consumption, not to expose too much to the sun rays and maintain the ideal through a balanced diet and a continuous exercise weight.
Present in more than two thousand Spanish cities, the AECC is drogadicción status that has over 130,000 members, 15,000 volunteers and 718 professionals who attended free of charge in 2011 more than 60,000 people, including patients and families in hospitals and homes.
