Madrid, 2011-October A committed radio station, a journalist in love with radio and eleven young talented have teamed up to launch the first radio program carried out by people with syndrome of Down for all kinds of listeners.
Extraordinary people is a casual and family magazine for an audience that hook the professionalism of eleven voices that, through the Foundation, Down syndrome, Madrid, have formed a great team captained by Federico Cuenca-Romero. The veteran journalist explains that the project was born from an interview that did me some of the boys in a workshop of radio. I saw that they had great fondness for the radio medium and that, with the support and the necessary technical means, could channel his talent to conduct a program in a commercial environment ”. The project was so exciting and innovative that soon, Borja Kadarusman, general director of Gestiona Radio supported the initiative by facilitating access to all the human and technical resources of the chain. Gastronomy, travel, culture, and many surprises set the content of extraordinary people.
