Madrid, June of 2011- the Confederation Española de organizations of older (CEOMA) and the SM Foundation have failed the winners of the 13th edition of the national contest tell me about your grandfather. Tell me about your grandson.

this award aims to promote intergenerational dialogue and to highlight the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren.

works have consisted of a short story – with a maximum length of five sheets of paper – or in a drawing, which could use any technique and DIN A3 or DIN A4 format. In this Edition, 147 schools have participated and have been 6.580 work.

the winners of this 13th Edition have been in the category grandchildren ”, the orensana María González Feijoo work thanks, forever ”.

while, in the category grandparents ”, the winner has been the Sevillian Julio Ribas commas with his story the lamp of Aladdin ”.

the jury has been composed by the defender of the children of the community of Madrid, Arturo Canalda; Coordinator of programs of the SM Foundation, Paula Benito Baltasar; director of projects of messengers of peace, Javier García Pérez; member of the Board of Directors of CEOMA, Carmen Fernández-Segade; collaborator CEOMA Casimir left; CEOMA projects responsible forMaite Yuste Herrero and the director-general of elders of the city of Madrid, Florencio Martín Tejedor who, on behalf of the delegate of the area of Government of family and social services Concepción Dancausa Treviño, presides over the jury.

la Confederation Spanish organizations for older (CEOMA) is an organization created non-profit for the defence of the rights of older persons. It represents more than one million members in Base and almost 1,500 associations and comprises 40 organizations of elders of the various autonomous communities.


SM Foundation.

the SM Foundation was created in November 1977 by the company of Mary (Marianists) of Spain. Its main objective is to reach the most disadvantaged sectors of society teaching and culture. All the benefits of the SM Group devoted entirely to the financing of the programmes of the Foundation, and the development and expansion of the business activity of the publishing group.
