Barcelona, February 2013.- FONALIA hearing centres and the SEUR Foundation, along with its projects in collaboration with different ONG´s and solidarity projects, have signed an agreement of collaboration. both organizations will encourage the recycling of hearing from people who no longer need them and made the donation to poor people and that cannot access them due to its situation econoMICA.
FONALIA, through its network of hearing centres dedicated to specific treatment of hearing problems, will be responsible for recycling items that no longer you needed to their owners, and on the other hand, SEUR Foundation will carry out the work of collection at the domicile of the donor and post-FONALIA for his adaptation and donation delivery to the new user.

In this way, FONALIA and the SEUR Foundation will give a second life ” these devices that are essential in many cases to improve the quality of life of people with hearing problems, especially with few economic resources that prevent them from accessing this type of treatment.

We believe that it is a pity that these prostheses are left in the drawer of a table when its owner dies, or simply to renew them by new ones ”.
SEUR Foundation was formed in 2004 to bring together all related actions to improve the conditions of the societies where SEUR is present. Since then, he has managed to position itself as a leader in logistics solidarity thanks to their collaboration in the solution of social problems through professionalism and solidarity of the SEUR team, fostering a commitment to help those most in need and, in particular, for children.
Furthermore, FONALIA has decided to launch this pilot test of social action in Catalonia to encourage people with the hard of hearing, with few economic resources, and to offer a quality of life with dignity, regardless of their social or economic status. If the social response is satisfactory, the experience will be expanded nationwide.
Currently FONALIA, network of independent hearing centres created in 2011, it has 29 centers partners in Spain, five of them in Catalonia (Barcelona, Terrassa, Sabadell, Reus and Martorell), and has planned a major expansion at the national level in the coming months.
