adolescence is a period of both physical and hormonal changes in which the body requires greater consumption of nutrients and calories than an adult.
The recommended amounts of each of the types of products are as follows:
• Dairy (preferably descremados): up to 4 to the day. • (desgrasadas) meat, eggs or legumes: 2 portions daily. • plant: 3 to 4 servings for day • oil: 2 servings by day. • fruit: 3 to 4 servings for day • cereals (preferably integrals): 2 or 3 servings a day • rest of energy foods such as sugar, sweets, soft drinks and fats are added which provide energy but should be regulated according to the amount of calories that has allowed to consume.
