Four hospitals in the public network received seven awards for the best health services.

Madrid, October of 2011- the prestigious health Awards Best In Class ” have recognized once again the quality of the patient care provided by health centres of the Madrid public network. During the ceremony of the sixth edition of these awards, held the week passed in Seville, four hospitals Madrid – Fuenlabrada, the Princess, La Paz and Fundación Jiménez Díaz – were awarded in different categories with seven awards, and an eighth was granted to the Madrid health service in the section on Security Clinic of institutions.

The 6th Awards Best In Class ”, which gives the weekly medical Gazette in collaboration with the Chair of innovation and health management of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, they recognized the work of the Hospital de Fuenlabrada in patient care in three categories. Thus this hospital received the awards to the best in patient care in the specialties of Pediatrics, Oncology, and dermatology.

For its part, the Hospital de La Princesa received two awards. The first, for its Institute of health research as best service in the category of research and innovation. The second was for the Princess of Hematology service, recognized as the best service in hematology and Hematoterapia in patient care.

And, in the category of Cardiology, Hospital La Paz received the award for the best service of Cardiology in patient care. In addition, the Fundación Jiménez Díaz, belonging to the public network of Madrid hospitals, received the award for best service in care to the patient in urology.

In addition, the Madrid health service as a public institution was awarded Best In Class ” best initiative or project on clinical security of institutions for their project security strategy, patient ”.
