Gold Medal for Spanish invention. “Revolution in food parcel”.
Geneva, April 2010.- La XXXVIII Edition of the international exhibition of inventions of Geneva awarded inventor Luis Burgos from Barcelona gold medal, special prize of the jury.
The invention consists of an airtight opening system for packaging of solids, grain or powder in food or other products, allowing among other things, remove the plastic bags from the current packages, facilitating the use of the consumer.
Luis Burgos Agudo, 45, Spanish born in Marseille – France, resident in Barcelona with winners of several patents, said receiving the Gold Medal with distinction from the jury, in the last Hall of Geneva, the press and television, his system of opening and closure for containers will radically change the ease and use consumer management, and consequently will revolutionize the global packaging industry.
During the show, the stand of Luis Burgos was visited, apart from by many professionals, many families who commented on the extreme ease with which children from age 3 can open and close packets of breakfast cereal.
