Madrid, 29 feb ( EFE).-the Government and the Autonomous communities have now signed the “ road map” agreement for health, which includes the consensus on the vaccine schedule, common health insurance card and the creation of a network to be determined by a “new” portfolio of services only for the entire national territory.
This the Minister of health, social services and equality, Ana Mato, after the first inter-territorial Health Council held in this legislature was announced today.
Mato has pointed out that a first agreement on the ages and dates that may be children’s vaccines, although it will not be reached until 2013 are unified when which of them will be common to all communities.
On the health insurance card, which will be interoperable in the CCAA, will begin airing before the end of 2012 and will join her four million people annually, as they proceed to its renewal.
In addition to exist a Pact for the centralized purchase of vaccines for influenza, which acceded to by 14 communities, it has been decided also the joint acquisition of childhood immunizations, which will mean a “significant savings” and at least one investment of 200 million euros in prevention.
“New”service portfolio which will have public health will be decided through a Spanish network of evaluation of technologies and benefits of the national service of health, whose creation has been decided at this meeting, and that it will decide what benefits fund health public and what not, depending on its cost-effectiveness.
