Logroño, 16 nov (EFE).-the Ministry of health, Social policy and equality has called on the Government of La Rioja to give citations “immediately” to the patients of the Basque municipalities bordering the community again and that “introduce” a dialogue with the Executive Basque to find an agreement.
In a letter which has had access Efe, the general Secretary of health, Alfonso Jiménez, asks La Rioja health, José Ignacio Nieto, Adviser to “solve, as soon as”, the problem with the patients of the Rioja Alavesa and Ribera Navarra, who were cared for in health centres in La Rioja and that, since September, do not have this assistance.
Nieto has explained at press conference that has received this letter and two calls from phone numbers of the Ministry on Monday and on Friday, but has insisted that the Government of La Rioja will sit down to negotiate at the time in which requested it the Basque Executive.
