Madrid, January 2012.- the Council of Government authorized a contract for management of the public service to perform mammograms in mobile units for the next four years, amounting to 11.4 million euros, within the program of detecting early of the cancer of breast of the community of Madrid (DEPRECAM).
The community of Madrid recalls that the implementation of the mammography is the most effective preventive measure for the detection and early treatment of breast cancer. These mobile facilities, Ministry of health guarantees the greatest possible coverage to facilitate the realization of this essential testing, displacing resources environments close to the residence of women recipients of the program.
