Employee of Heart to Heart International receives the recognition of Ambassador of the peace of Guatemala.
Olathe, Kansas, 1 of July 2011. / PRNewswire/the peace Secretary, Guatemala has selected Jorge Coromac, Heart to Heart International, a humanitarian organization focusing on health, to provide functions such as peace Ambassador for Guatemala in 2011 and 2012. Persons selected for this position represent organizations who advocate for the peace of the Guatemalan people. Coromac was recognized at the National Palace of Guatemala on June 17, for having received this position.
The integrated initiative water, sanitation and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) hygiene of Heart to Heart International and other health programmes rated Coromac for this position. In partnership with other organizations and a host of volunteers, Heart to Heart International has provided access to safe drinking water and improvements in sanitation facilities for the Guatemalans in the Solola region.
