The report residences for senior citizens ” of DBK places the Health Foundation and community among the leading organizations in the sector.
FSC manages 1.53% of the residential public squares of the Spanish State the prestigious consultant DBK, subsidiary of Informa D & B (Group CESCE), specialized in the preparation of studies of sectoral analysis and the competition, has just made public its fourteenth report on the homes for the elderly. The study includes the positioning and results of 39 major companies and organizations operating in the sector, among which is the non-profit health Foundation and community (FSC), which is thus among the main ones in the management of residential services aimed at older people.
Barcelona, July of 2012. According to the 14th edition of the report residences for senior citizens ”, 96.369 public residential squares of the Spanish State, FSC manages 1,478, which represents 1.53% of these.
The study, based on primary information from companies and leading industry organizations, elaborates on recent developments and trends in this, the key factors of business success or forecasts in the short and medium term, among other issues. Among the companies analyzed Valoriza services is also dependence, Ballesol group, group AMMA or Sanitas Residencial.
As explained from the Area of attention to the dependence of FSC, this study, in which it collects data of interest to the sector, also shows that our institution is positioned among the top in the management of residences for seniors. This is reason for great satisfaction for us, since it comes to also recognise our commitment to improving care for elders, the online managed services increase ”.

The objective of the institution is, on the one hand, continue betting for the line on Government contracts, mainly in regions where it is already present and, in parallel, to consider new opportunities to expand its services to the community.

These figures include the centers that the entity manages jointly with Valoriza services dependency in Valencia, Aragon and Castile – La Mancha, Spain.
Also take into account five day centres located in the province of Valladolid public, managed with the Aldesa group; and a day centre in Vitoria (Ãlava), in joint venture with Lagunduz. With this last handles in addition two support services on-site in the Basque country (Bilbao and Portugalete).
These data reflect the sustained growth of the Area of attention to the unit and the confidence that public institutions have been deposited in the Health Foundation and community, becoming the non-religious NGO with more beds of the Spanish State, as can be seen from other published reports.
The organization also has 1,075 employees full-time in the Area of attention to dependence, much of which are contracted by joint ventures formed by the Health Foundation and community and other entities or companies. It has presence in the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Castile – La Mancha, Castile and León, Basque country and Aragon.
