suffering a cancer it is a terrible thing, much more is when we are concerned at an early age and our minds still is not sufficiently prepared to understand the extent of the disease, and to face it with maturity.
Precisely for these reasons, any help they have families in which a child or adolescent suffers from cancer is always welcome. Recently it has launched a very interesting website for adolescents who suffer from this type of Pathology, and it has been an initiative of the Fundació Josep Laporte.
the website is called Pacienteconcancer.es, and she becomes available to patients and their families a complete list of information, audio-visual and informative resources to help understand the process of the disease, and as well from the beginning with all support possible through the network.
Website is included in the project Navigation route of the patient with cancer, which, as indicated on the web, was born with the aim of offering a kind of road map for those who suffer from cancer and those who care for them.Between the resources provided under this project, the website is one of the fundamental tools. It will find informative material, multimedia resources (videos) and training ”.
Is also interesting to note the book B envenido to the Hospital ”, aimed at children and adolescents who have to go through the difficult shot of the hospital admission.! The idea is to help them familiarize with the institution in such a way that they see as something close and known, rather than a cold and unpleasant building.
An initiative to thank, which will surely serve many families as a starting point for the fight against the terrible enemy is the cancer.
