Madrid, September of 2011. InterSystems Corporation organizes the interoperability workshop where will present how Sweden implemented their project of electronic clinical history (HCE) in a time record, using InterSystems HealthShare ™.
InterSystems seminar be held on September 27, under the title project NPÖ of Sweden and networks of health interoperability at the Palace Hotel in Madrid. In it, Helena Svedberg, of INERA AB and services of the NPÖ project manager, will present the details of the project and its evolution, to configure one of the most innovative projects in the world for the achievement of the HCE.
INERA AB is the current name of the Organization SVR AB, which selected Tieto and InterSystems, in 2008, to carry out the project. INERA is a company jointly owned by the Swedish counties software.
La HCE, strategic vital part for the Swedish health care
The draft National Patient Overview (NPÖ) is designed to facilitate the creation of the HCE as a vital part of the programme of implementation of the national it strategy for healthcare and Social assistance in the country. Its main objective focused on improving the safety and quality of care to patients, by implementing the solution. The system allows that the most important clinical information of each citizen is accessible online by any health professional, prior authorization of the patient, regardless of the place or time.
HealthShare platform was selected due to its reliability, scalability, and interoperability with existing systems. It was the involvement of less than 10 developers and system administrators to perform the implantation in very short deadlines.
HealthShare provides the professional information on demographics of the patient, drug lists, results of laboratories, allergies, and other data considered important for ensuring optimal health care.
