Spain, February 2011.- the Manager of the Hospital Universitario de Móstoles, Cristina Granados, accompanied by the head of the Centre, Primitivo Ortega, Otolaryngology and Professor at the University of Puerto Rico, Juan Trinidad Pinedo, inaugurated on Monday the 15th International course of Rhinoplasty and Facial Surgery will run until the next day 25. The main attraction of the conferences are live surgery sessions that will take place the core days of the week.

Dr. Primitivo Ortega has opened the meeting with a brief tour through the history of surgery of the nose, since its inception, almost at the same time that medicine, until sophisticated current interventions. Joseph, that initiated in the 1940s of the last century has highlighted the relevance of the Italian Rhinoplasty of the Renaissance that preceded the modern technique attributed to the great German surgeon.

The workshops have been organized by the ENT service of hospital with the collaboration of Anesthesiology and operating room nursing services. the objective of this traditional meeting that began 20 years ago is the educational Rhinoplasty and other surgical techniques for facial plastic surgery in the most direct and complete manner to facilitate understanding and learning of all participantsregardless of their experience and level of knowledge. For this reason, the course ranges from the basics to the most advanced surgical techniques in Otoplasty, Chin surgery, blepharoplasty and facial refinement.
